A Sunday to Remember: My Spontaneous Trip to Caza Peregrine
Sundays usually meant relaxation, but this one took a thrilling turn when my boardmate proposed a sudden visit to Caza Peregrine. Eager for an adventure and to save on expenses, I jumped at the idea.
We kicked off our impromptu journey at 2 PM, hopping onto the MRT from Ayala to Cubao for just P20 each. Then, an LRT ride to Aurora Cubao added another P25 per person to our expenses.
Switching to local transport, a Toktok ride from Antipolo to Caza Peregrine cost us P150 each. Price is quite hefty because of a 25kilometers ride. By 5 PM, we arrived, stepping into an unexpected yet exciting adventure.
Caza Peregrine in Rizal greeted us warmly, nestled amid stunning landscapes framed by the Sierra Madre and mountains.

Entrance fees were affordable at 50 PHP for adults and 30 PHP for kids aged 3–9. The prospect of savoring Filipino delicacies like Crispy Pata and Sizzling Pork Sisig at the resort’s restaurant was too tempting to resist.
There was so much to explore—picturesque grounds, tasty meals, camping, and swimming. Despite a few infrastructure issues, the resort’s help arranging tricycle rides for folks heading to Cabading was a thoughtful gesture.
Being a weekend, the place was bustling, and queues for photos added to the lively vibe.
Reflecting on this spontaneous adventure, I left with a promise to return. Despite the crowds and small hiccups, Caza Peregrine’s charm and potential for peaceful moments made it an unforgettable experience. This spur-of-the-moment escapade marked a Sunday well spent, fueling my appetite for more unplanned adventures in the future.
