By order of DOE Usec. Emmanuel Juaneza to NPC to assure the full capacity NPC 4MW modular generator set in Tayamaan. As well as Sec. Cusi urging NPC to add 10MW to the current power supply in Occidental Mindoro were two of the steps taken after the meeting and center of the talks.

The NPC – SPUG technical team immediately conducted an occular inspection of the substations in Occidental Mindoro for the report to be submitted to the NPC Board this week.

It will be recalled that Angel Mendoza recently complained to Raffy Tulfo in Action about the occidental mindoro rotational brownout issue facing by the consumer-members of OMECO. According to her, appliances are often damaged by frequent power outages. As well as OMECO allegedly turned off the electricity even with a little rain. Many consumer-members of OMECO shared their grievances on Facebook about this.

Finally, there is sure to be sufficient and stable electricity in Occidental Mindoro. Many thanks to all who have raised their grievances and are helping to solve this long-standing problem that the people of Occidental Mindoro are facing.
