Finding a Slice of Korea in Silang Cavite: My Experience at the Korean Temple

If you’re someone like me who dreams of visiting Korea but can’t afford it or find the time just yet, I’ve found the perfect solution. This place is like a dream come true, with its surreal atmosphere that captures the essence and vibes of Korea. It’s the answer to all your prayers!

Please remember that this isn't a tourist spot; it's a sacred place. Follow the appropriate dress code and keep noise levels down. 

The main hall is the highlight of the place because it looks a lot like traditional Korean temples, even though it’s not too fancy. It has a simple design that still captures the essence of Korean temples. It is off-limits to guests, but other areas are open for you to explore. Please respect and follow the rules. There’s no entrance fee, and everyone is welcome to visit.  

How to get there

In Silang Cavite, you can find the Manila Buddhist Meditation Center in Pooc II. To get there, from PITX, take a bus heading to Tagaytay and get off at Estrella Hospital. Once there, cross the street, you’ll see 7-11, you can take a tricycle to reach the Korean temple. Just let the tricycle driver know the destination, as they are familiar with the location. Alternatively, you can also take a jeepney near Silang Central School for a more budget-friendly option, costing only P20 for a one-way ticket. The temple is just a short 13-minute ride away from there.
