Manila’s famous amusement-themed park Star City will now welcome visitors to experience rides, rollercoasters, and amusement centers again.
“The long wait is finally over! Star City will be reopening this January 14, 2022!”, the park management announced the news on its Facebook page.
The Star Pass gives unlimited rides on the park’s attractions. It’s available at an introductory price of P400 and can be purchased at the gate. They will soon let fans know how they can buy tickets online. Star City opens its doors to the public every day from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m the whole month of January. Starting in February to August, hours will be Thursday to Sunday only, as the amusement park builds toward completion through the rest of the year.
The fire gutted several attractions at Star City in October 2, 2019. One billion pesos worth of damages were incurred. A part of its sister company, Manila Broadcasting Co. (MBC), were damaged too. The amusement park had many features besides its rides, including an indoor carnival and shopping center, as well as museums and horror houses. The park has remained closed ever since.
