Understanding Facebook’s Community Standards: What You Cannot Post on the Platform

Have you ever been asked to verify your identity while logging in to Facebook following a suddenly logout? You may have received notications that some of your postings violate Facebook’s regulations as the social media platform cleans up. Did you know that we must all follow their Facebook’s Community Standards? Account restrictions may result from posting content that is against their policy.

  5. Spam: Facebook forbids the posting of any content that it deems to be spam, including phishing links, malware, and other dishonest practices.

Note that posting content that is against Facebook’s policies will result in account restrictions, which may include temporary or permanent account suspension. In that case, what should you do if Facebook flags your post as breaking their rules?
