The Budget-Friendly Guide to Touring Boracay with Your Family
Many people, including my own family, have long been to go to Boracay. But we were well aware of quite expensive a trip to Boracay could be. Nevertheless, we were determined to make our vision dream going over budget. In this blog post, I’ll share about our most recent vacation to Boracay and highlight the places, restaurants we dined at, and budget-friendly accomodation we stayed.
To begin with, I booked our accommodation at Shore Time Dormitel, an excellent option for families traveling on a budget. We opted for the single room that could accommodate 8 people and, for a small fee, an extra 2. The double-deck beds and dormitory style were ideal, as we only needed a place to sleep for the night. That costs only P2,400 for 10pax per night. The Shore Time Dormitel is conveniently located at Station 3 and provides several amenities, such as a free shuttle service to and from D’mall, free Wi-Fi access, air-conditioned rooms, a lobby area, a pantry area, a food park with live music every night, a café for coffee lovers, and a bar area for relaxing in the evenings. Our entire visit was made comfortable by the welcoming staff. You can find more details about Shore Time Dormitel on their Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/ShoretimeDormitel
We had to meet a few requirements upon entry before we could start our journey in Boracay. We ensured we had appropriate IDs for every family member and had our hotel reservation confirmation ready. We also had the necessary birth certificates with us for newborns.
Once we arrived in Cagban Port , we went to the Shore Time Dormitel via their service (P400 for 10pax this was excluded in the accomodation) and checked into our rooms. After a short rest, we were eager to visit the renowned White Beach and indulge in delicious Filipino cuisine. We dined at Jasper’s Tapsilog and Restaurant for dinner, where we were given a variety of great Filipino meals that satisfied our buds and our budget. A total of P900+ spent for 10pax.

We walked along the beachfront after dinner to take in the stunning sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon was the perfect way to relax and be at peace. Our experience was made even more magical by the festive mood of the evening.

We decided to order dinner at Shoretime Dormitel when we got back. The delicious and budget-friendly options they provided pleasantly surprised us. Thanks to the tasty food, we had a cozy evening in the comfort of our accommodation.
